First Half
Accies started really well and took control straight away in the 4th minute Rachel Howie had a
good shot on goal after a lovely through ball from Teigan. Accies had all the pressure and South
Ayrshire playing the long ball to no avail. Accies played some great football with excellent runs
from both the wingers. On the 11th minute a great through ball from Emily to Emma R goal!
SAG still tried to play the ball over the and eventually they got one in behind Accies, however, a
fantastic run from Emma Gray tracking to win the ball and got it cleared. On the 21st minute Accies
got a corner and it fell to Emily, strike goal! In the last couple of minutes SAG began to put a little
pressure on but the back four was solid and a good saves from Samantha. On the last minute
Emily had a shot just going wide.
Second Half
Accies started the second as they finished the first with a strike from Tiffany in the first minute.
SAG had a shot on the 4th minute and it just went wide. Accies still in control of the game with
wonderful passing football. On the 10th minute a great cross in and Emma R (first time ever!)
got her head on it and made the keeper make a good save. On the 12th minute Reghan and Niamh
came on for Emma Gray and Carly. Accies continued to dominate the game with Tiffany having the
most unluckiest game as she had three opportunities to finish the game off. As same as the first half with Teigan and Rachel Howie carrying with the great runs and crosses. On the 26th minute Accies got a free kick and dropped to Emma R good put it away Goal!! SAG got a free kick and the dropped into the six yard box and there a bit of a scuffle. Penalty to SAG. Their striker stepped and put Samanth A the wrong way. Goal!
The remainder of the game was all Accies being unlucky not get another couple.
Conclusion
The whole team played exceptionally today with a solid back four even when they put the subs on. Rachel Hardy and Emily worked there socks off in the midfield with excellent tackling and passing.
It was difficult to pick the Player of the Match as Rachel Hardy and Rachel Howie were stunning today, however, I think Teigan just got it with her tremendous individual runs.
