Fitzpatrick and Rebecca Dempster found net in Hamilton to take home the spoils.

Accies boss Gary Doctor said, "Aberdeen are a really good side, top five, six again this season so it was obviously a really big ask for us, and in terms of results and points we would have preferred to have been better in our performance.

"In the first half I don't think we have competed as well as we have done in our previous couple of games and that was disappointing."

After only 12 minutes, Forrest found herself in front of goal to send an unstoppable shot beyond Elaine Fleming grabbing the early advantage.

Accies responded quickly though, winning a free kick near the away side's box, but Amie McGill's effort went straight into Becky Flaherty's gloves, and just after twenty, Stewart found service inside the box from Cassie Cowper to jab in the second.

Despite a quick run for Accies, the Dons broke again to undo them, and worked up the park to see McGregor slide in from close range on the 26th.

It was nearly four with ten til the break as Fleming came off her line early, but the shot floated over the Hamilton stopper, and luckily for her it skewed wide.

Accies had the chance to pull one back before half time as another McGill freekick was sent into the area, but Karen Baillie's strike didn't trouble Flaherty.

Approaching the hour mark, Dons leftback Alana Bruce

nearly sneaked their first of the half from close range,

but quick feet from Fleming halted her chances denying

her at feet.

A push from Kathleen Toolan awarded the visitors a

freekick from twenty five yards that was well turned in

by Fitzpatrick on the 71st before Hamilton were buried

on the 79th as Dempster collected a ball pinged into the

area to lob her shot in from deep inside the box.

Hamilton travel to Forfar next week where they look to put this week's disappointment behind them and find their first three points.
